لم نسمع من قبل هذا المصطلح الجديد وهو الدعاء الاقتصادي ولقد استقر فى الأذهان ان المال حين نريده لابد ان نبذل الجهد ألبدني والعقلي لتحصل عليه مكتفين بالدعاء باللسان فقط ولم نكن نعلم ان الدعاء هو بذل مجهود فى حد ذاته ولكن يؤمن المسلمون ان الأيمان من مقتضياته التصديق بما جاء به كالدعاء الذي من بين صورة الأدعية الاقتصادية فالاقتصاد المبنى علي الشروط المادية فقط اثبت فشلة بالدليل القاطع كفشل النظام الشيوعي وتبدل الأنظمة الاقتصادية الرأسمالية واختلافها .. لذلك لا يجب ان نسير فى البناء الفكري والتطبيقي على ما جاء فى الاقتصاد الوضعي بل على توجيهات ديننا التي تجمع بين الشروط المادية والإيمانية معا وفى هذا الكتاب قام المؤلف بالتعريف بالدعاء ومكانته فى الإسلام شارحا التفسير الاقتصادي للدعاء مع ذكر نماذج من الأدعية الاقتصادية فى الكتاب والسنة.
