الكتاب عبارة عن يوميات كتبها المؤلف خلال الفترة ما بين 28 فبراير 2011، الى يوليو 2013. متحدثا فيها عما أسماه تآمر «جماعة الإخوان على الثورة مع قوى خارجية وفى ظل تواطؤ قوى داخلية بعض هذه القوى تواطأ عن غير وعى وعن جهل بتاريخ الحركة الوطنية علاوة على تجاهله تاريخ الإخوان»، والكتاب يعرض الأحداث من تاريخ 28 فبراير حتى 6 يوليو 2013، ويقول المؤلف فى مقدمة الكتاب «نعتذر للتاريخ لأننا سمحنا بسرقة مصر لكن التاريخ سيفخر بالمصريين لأنهم استعادوا وطنهم فى 30 يونيو 2013 عبر ثورة غير مسبوقة وأيقظوا فجراً جديداً لحق المواطنة والحرية».
