وهو كشاهد على الثورة ومشارك فيها منذ مولدها قد عاش مهمة سرية كلفه بها الرئيس الراحل جمال عبد الناصر كما عاش تجربة الحياة النيابية، والتنظيمات السرية ورأى ان واجبه كمصري أن يقدم هذه الصفحات متوخياً ألا يتجاوز ما يعرف إلى مالا يعرف وألا يتعدى ما عايشه من خلال تجربته إلى مواقف الآخرين مقرراً أنه ليس قاضياً ولكنه شاهد فقط وفي بداية ما كتب "أقسم بالله العظيم أن أقول الحق".
