إيمانا منا بالتطورات المناخية والتطورات الاجتماعية التى نعايشها اليوم قمنا نحن المؤلفون بإعداد (وحدة تربوية بعنوان "شرطى المرور") بهدف إثارة وعى الأطفال من الخامسة إلى السابعة إلى بعض الحقائق، والمهارات وقواعد السلوك المرتبطة بتحسين أحوال بيئتهم على أساس أن سلوك الطفل يؤثر فى بيئته، والبيئة أيضا ثؤثر فى الطفل. لأن الطفل وليد بيئته. ومن خلال الأنشطة المقدمة للأطفال فى هذه الوحدة "وحدة شرطى المرور" يدرك الأطفال شيئا فشيئا دورهم الاجتماعى المتوقع منهم فى مثل سنهم.
ووحدة شرطى المرور عبارة عن أنشطة تربوية تستخدم النظرية المعرفية لبياجيه أساسا لتفسير العمليات التربوية التى تقوم بها المعلمة فى الروضة كما أخذنا بالتطبيقات العملية أساسا لتنمية إجتماعية للأطفال كما استخدمنا النظرية السيبرنيتية للضبط الحركى، وأخيرا إتخذنا نظرية التحليل النفسى للخبرة اللغوية، والفنية، والحركية والاجتماعية لتدريب الأطفال على مهارات التعلم، فرادى لمساعدتهم على تجاوز صعوبات التعلم فرادى، ثم إعادة تدريبهم على هذه المهارات فى شكلها التكاملى أثناء نشاط الطفل المسرحى فيتعلم الطفل بعض قيم مجتمعه الذى يعيش فيه.
