هذا كتاب "الدعوات الكبير" للإمام الحافظ أبي بكر البيهيقي رحمه الله، جمع فيه جملة كبيرة الأحاديث المسندة، جمع فيه جل أحاديث الأدعية والأذكار في المواضع والمواقف، والأحوال المختلفة، فقلما تجد حديثًا يخرج عنه، فهو كتاب يغني عن غيره، ولا يغني عنه غيره، فهو موسوعة في بابه، يجب أن يحرص عليها ليس كل طالب علم وحسب، بل كل مسلم أيضًا، أما حاجة طالب العلم له: فلأن الكتاب يشتمل على الأحاديث بأسانيدها، وهذا لا تخفي أهميته خاصة لطلاب الحديث، وأما أهمية الكتاب لعامة المسلمين، فلأنه يشتمل على الأدعية الواردة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، في الأحوال المختلفة، كما أشرنا من قبل، ويعلم الله عز وجل أني قد بذلت جهدًا كبيرًا، ووقتًا عزيزًا، لإخراج هذا الكتاب، في أضبط صورة، وأبعدها عن الخطأ والزلل، وما دفعني إلى هذا العمل إلى لأهميته التي سبق وذكرتها، إذ وجدته فريدًا مميزًا في بابه، كسائر مصنفات البيهيقي رحمه الله.
