صور بطيئة تخرج من الأرض، من عمق الماضي بألوان حاضرها وكأنها تحدث الآن. إنه يوم البعث، بعث الذكريات من برزخها. ذكريات تنسلّ من كل حدب وصوب ممزّقة جدران النسيان، محطَّمة ظلمة الوجدان، على بساط الحقيقة.
هل أصبح الزمان لحظة واحدة فاجتمع الماضي والمضارع لينسفا قواعد الوجود واللغة على حدّ سواء؟
كل الموبقات تتسارع في سباق اقتناص كينونة عرقول، تجزُّ كل عضو من أعضائه الممهورة برذيلة اقترفها، تدق أوتادًا من نار في رأس ما كان يومًا بشريًا. المطلوب الوحيد هو من قامت قيامته، وقيامة اليوم هي قيامة عرقول. قيامة مميّزة بطقوس خاصَّة. القربان والإله واحد.
محاولة الهرب لا تجدي فالطريق مسدود والبصر خاسئ كما تشكو البصيرة من الضمور الأزلي. دموع تبتلعها حشرجات الخوف وارتدادات الانتقام حتى شعر عرقول وكأن جسده قد بُسط على صحراء جهنّم فيما تستعر الضُبَّان بجلدها القاسي على نار فجيعته التي تستعر في غرفة نتنة حلاوتها شجرة زقُّوم.
أين هو الموت؟ أين عزرائيل؟ بل أين الله؟
انقذوني، بالموت بالقتل بالفناء. أرجوكم
