هو العدد الثاني من سلسلة محاضرات حوار الحضارات . وهو يضم مجموعة المحاضرات التي عقدت في إطار أنشطة الموسم الثقافي لبرنامج حوار الحضارات لعام 2002/2003م . وقد انعقد هذا الموسم في موضوع (خطابات عربية وغربية في حوار الحضارات). حيث تم استضافة عدد من المفكرين والباحثين والمشتغلين بموضوع العلاقة بين الحضارات . بدأ الموسم بمحاضرات حول مسار ومآل حوار الحضارات . فقدم الأستاذ السيد يسين قراءة نقدية في خطابات حوار الحضارات . ثم قدم الدكتور حسن حنفي تقييما لتجارب حوار الحضارات . كما عقدت حلقة نقاشية حول قواعد وآليات حوار الحضارات . ومن الجانب الغربي استضاف برنامج حوار الحضارات مفوض الخارجية الألمانية لشؤون الحوار مع العالم الإسلامي الذي قدم محاضرة حول أهمية الحوار مع العالم الإسلامي من وجهة نظر ألمانية . كما استضاف البرنامج البروفيسور جون إسبوزيتو مدير مركز التفاهم الإسلامي المسيحي بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ليتحدث حول مستقبل الحوار بين الحضارات بعد الحرب على العراق . وحول قضايا حوار الحضارات ، نظم البرنامج لقاء حول قضية العنف من وجهة نظر إسلامية قدمها الدكتور عبد الحميد أبو سليمان رئيس المعهد العالمي للفكر الإسلامي . كما استضاف البرنامج الدكتور محمد السيد سعيد نائب مدير مركز الدراسات السياسية والإستراتيجية بالأهرام والذي تحدث عن قضية حقوق الإنسان . كما أعد البرنامج للقاء مع الدكتور طه جابر العلواني رئيس جامعة العلوم الإسلامية والاجتماعية بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية . ولكن نظرا لعدم انعقاد اللقاء فقد تفضل الدكتور طه – مشكورا - بتقديم ورقة مكتوبة حول الإسلام والتعايش السلمي مع الآخر .
