لقد عرف الإنسان منذ وجوده قوة تفوقه ، وإرادة تحيطة فكان يلجأ إليها عند ضيقه وكربه سواء فى ذلك الموحد والمشرك، فالجميع ينادى عند شدته من يراه للمناجاة اهلاً ، وللإنقاذ والنصرة عوناً حتى وفدت رسل الله وتعاقبت على البشرية تحمل إليها شرائع الله التى أمرت بكل ما يجلب للإنسانية الخير فى عالجها وآجلها كما نهت عن كل ما يسبب لها سوء العاقبة فى دنياها وآخراها، وكان المصطفى خاتم الأنبياء وكتابه القرآن آخر كتب السماء حمل للخليقة من الخير ما فاق كل سعادة ينشدها البشر وجعله الله خالداً لتستضئ به الإنسانية فى أمورها كلها فكان من اوامره الالتجاء إلى الله فى السراء والضراء والمنشط والمكره فقال تعالى" وقال ربكم أدعونى أسجب لكم .. " فاستجاب إلى هذا النداء من استجاب فدعا وتضرع وجنى ثمار مناجاته.
