يجد المسلم نفسه في هذه الحياة بين عناصر مادية وأخرى معنوية تتجاذبة والعناصر المادية متمثلة في جوانبها الثلاثة : المكاني، الزماني، والإحيائي، يؤثر الإنسان فيها ويتأثر بها والإنسان هو محور هذه التفاعلات ، حيث سخر الله تعالى كل المخلوقات لأجله ووضع الإسلام نظاما دقيقا لهذا التفاعل. ولكون الإسلام دينا شاملا فقد عنى بتهيئة البيئة ونقائها وصفائها (ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون) (الروم) فالأخلال بها مدعاة لظهور الساد والحفاظ عليها من مراتب الإيمان وأبواب النجاة. ويضع الإسلام نظاما وقائيا في التعامل مع قضاياالبيئة التى عرضنا لها في هذا الكتاب من خلال فصول أربعة رصدت أكثر من عشرين قضية بيئية معاصرة تدرجت في تاولها من تحديد المفهوم الإسلامي الشامل للبيئة وكيف يتميز المسلم في التعامل مع عناصر البيئة من خلال: التسخير والمسخرات والاستخلاف وهذا كله يحقق " الإتزان البيئي) الذي أوضحنا معالمه في الإسلام حيث نجد مردوده في قضية (التربية البيئية في الإسلام)وتبرز عدة قضايا معاصرة عولجت بدقة وتفصيل وتحليل مثل: التلوث ، وتغير المناخ ، واستنزاف الموارد الطبيعية ، ومشكلة التصحر ، وقضية طبقة الأوزون بين إفساد البشر وتوازن الكون، وقضية نقصان الموارد ، وقضية سحة المجتمع وقضية نظافة البيئة في الإسلام. وبعد هذا نجد دعوة الإسلام إلى الاعتدال وعدم الإسراف ، والنهي عن الفساد والإفساد وإلى تحقيق أمن البيئة محليا وإقليميا وعالميا وهذا الكتاب دعوة جديدة إلى فهم شامل للإسلام ، وإلى التعرف على كل قضايا الحياة والكون وتنظيمه الحياة الطيبة الخالية من التناقضات. ونسأل الله تعالى أن يحفظنا بحفظه ويهدينا إلى التمسك بمكارم الأخلاق وسواء الصراط ويثبتنا على ديننا ودنيانا.
