Book Description
يمكننا تعريف النظام النقدي بأنه مجموعة التنظيمات المسيرة لأمور النقد في الدولة، بتحديد أنواع النقود المتداولة، والقاعدة النقدية المتبعة، وتنظيم إصدار النقود، وتحديد أسعار تداولها، وما يرتبط بذلك من أمور.
وعند تحليلنا لكلمة نقد نجد أن المعاجم اللغوية ورد فيها ما يلي: النقد والتنقاد تمييز الدراهم، وإخراج الزيف منها، وقد نقدها ينقدها نقدًا وانتقدها وتنقدها ونقده إياها نقدًا أعطاه فانتقدها أي قبضها.
والنقد مصدر نقدته دراهمه، ونقدته الدراهم ونقدت له الدراهم أي أعطيته فانتقدها أي قبضها، ونقدت الدراهم إذا أخرجت منها الزيف، والدرهم نقد: أي وازن جيدًا.
والنقد: المسكوك من الذهب والفضة، ويطلق على قطعة المعدن المضروبة للتعامل بها، وروي أن السبب في تسمية قطع العملات بالنقد أن الأولين كانوا يصورون على الدراهم رأس (النقد)، وهو نوع من الغنم لطيف الجسم نحيفه، ثم عرفت هذه الدراهم بهذه الصورة، وأخذت اسمها، ثم أطلقت على النقود، والنظام النقدي في العصر المملوكي وتحديدًاا منذ عام 648هـ حتى 922هـ.
هو ما نتناوله في هذا الكتاب بالدراسة مقسمين إياه إلى الفصول التالية: [الفصل الأول: دور سك العملة في دولة المماليك، الفصل الثاني: النقود المملوكية (أنواعها، أوزانها، عياراتها، إصداراتها)، الفصل الثالث: القيم النقدية للنقود المملوكية، الفصل الرابع: القيمة الشرائية للنقود المملوكية، الفصل الخامس: العلاقة النقدية بين العملات المملوكية والعملات المعاصرة لها، الفصل السادس: الفساد النقدي في الدولة].
