يعتبر عام 1935 من الاعوام العلامة على طريق الحركة الوطنية المصرية فهو المحطة الثانية للحركة الوطنية ذات الطابع العنيف بعد ثورة 1919 ففى نوفمبر من هذا العام كانت الانتفاضة التى تفجرت فىكل مديريات ومحافظات مصر فبسببها اعيد الى البلاد دستور 1923 بعد مماطلة من جانب القصر والحومة والانجليز ، وبسببها ايضا خرجت وزارة محمد توفيق نسيم من الحكم فى يناير 1936 وبسببها كذلك مع المستجدات العالمية دخلت بريطانيا ومصر فى مفاوضات انتهت الى توقيع معاهدة 1936 وقد بحث المؤلف وراء تلك الحوادث من الاسكندرية وبورسعيد فى اقصى الشمال الى اسوان فى اقصى الجنوب ووجد الكثير الذى ضمنه دفتى هذا الكتاب واكد لنا على ما تحاول هذه السلسلة تقديمه البحث فى المسكوت عنه فى التاريخ المصرى والعربى الحديث والمعاصر .
