أعترف أني عرفت من خلاله الكثير مما كنت لا يمكن لي معرفته من ذلك الزمان البحريني الأصيل المعجون بالكفاح وشظف العيش وصعوبة الحياة التي قهرها أهل البحرين بالعمل الشاق والبسمة الحلوة والطيبة التي التصقت بهم، والتي لا يمكن أن تذكرها دون أن تذكر البحرين وأهلها الكرام.
