ليست هذه دراسة تاريخية تقليدية ولكنها صفحات من تاريخ وتراث الديقراطية والحزبية فى مصر وهو سجل ثمين عريق لابد وان نذكره دائما وان نستعيده وان نعرضه لاجيالنا الحاضرة والمستقبلة لكى يستكملوه . والديمقراطية هى قضية العصر والمستقبل بالطبع وسوف تتصدر قضايا القرن القادم وقد تطور تعريفها واصبح شاملا ويعتى توزيع السلطة والثروة والمعرفة بالعدل وعلى كل مواطن وحتى اخر مواطن ولن تكل الانسانية او تمل حتى يتحقق هذا الحلم وبهذا المعنى وفى اطاره تاخذ الديمقراطية طرقا واشكالا متعددة تتفق مع خصائص كل شعب وواقعه . وقد كانت مصر رائدة متقدمة وخاضت من اجل الديمقراطية معركة باسلة بطولية وتكلبت قوى غير متكافئة لاجهاضها وسحقها وضربت مثلا ونموذجا لشعوب الشرق فى المقاومة والابداع ولم تزل المعركة قائمة وعلى اشدها ومازال الطريق طويلا وعسيرا ويصبح واجبا علينا ان نستقصى التاريخ والتراث وان نتبين الانجازات والعثرات وان نرسى البناء على اسس راسخة وان نبدع ونضيف ونكتشف طريقا مصريا عربيا الى الديمقراطية الشاملة ولعل هذا الجزء الاول من هذه الصفحات يقدم مساهمة متواضعة ولكن مفيدة فى هذا الصدد !
