السحر داء قديم، تستخدمه النفوس الشريرة في قضاء وطرها من الشر، وإشباع نهمتها من الإفساد، ومنذ نزل هاروت وماروت بالسحر والنسا منه في بلاء عظيم، وشر مستطير، ومن ذا الذي يسلم منه بعد سيد البشر محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقد سحر وعقد له، وحبس عن أهله، وتغير عن عادته، ولقي من السحر ألماً وضنىً.
وهذا زمان فشت فيه كلمة السحرة والمشعوذين، وعلت فيه رايتهم، وصار الناس يشبعون نوازعهم الداخلية -التي تدعوهم إلى التطلع إلى المستقبل، وتحملهم على التهجم على الغيب- بالوقوف على عتبات السحرة، وإرسال الرسل إليهم، فبرؤوا من التوكل على الله، وتعلقوا بغيره فخابوا وخسروا.
وبلغ الأمر بضعاف النفوس أن صار الأخ في هذا الزمان يسحر أخاه، والأم تسحر ابنها، والزوجة تعقد لزوجها، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العزيز الحكيم.
وهذا مؤلف لطيف فيه شرح حديث عائشة: "سحر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" وبيان طرقه وفقهه وأحكامه، وشرح لكيفية فك السحر عن المسحور، ونشره عنه.
