حدجتني المرأة بنظرات يشوبها الإستغراب وأنا أصف لها يمامة بكلمات لم تدوّن يوماً بكتاب، ربما ظنّت بي بعض خبل أو مسّ من الجنون، فيمامة كانت فوق شفاهي شهوة عبش، بلاد أخرى، وجع مؤجل وبوصفة إلى ما وراءِ يحتضن ربّاً بحب يمامة بلا شروط، قلت للمرأة: يمامة، يمامة، وفي بالي خيط دخان يصالح أرضنا مع السماء وفي بالي حقول خضراء تستدعي الرب للتمسيد فوق وجه العشب.
يمامة؟ سألتني المرأة وأنا بعد في حيرة من أمري حيال هذه الفتاة التي انتزعت الأبدية عبر ابتسامتها التي تخشع بحضرتها الكلمات، نعم يمامة، قلت لها وأنا أرقب الرحيل الأخير لقافلة تخجل لدى مرورها الشمس فلا تغيب ولا تعتلي قبة السماء، يمامة، حاضرنا المتناثر، مستقبلنا المؤجل، وماضينا الذي يهم بالرحيل.
