وقفَ الزّعيمُ وبدأ يتوجّه إلى ركنٍ من أركان الصّرح، حيث يراه كلّ الناس ويسمعونه، أخذوا يحيّونه بوضْع أيديهم على رؤوسهم، فحيّاهم، وبدأ قائلًا: - أيّها الفارسيّين، منذُ ما يقرب من ألفِ عامٍ ونحن وأجدادُنا نسكنُ الجبل، يحكمُنا العهدُ، والعدلُ، والعمل. حافظَ أجدادي وآبائي- حتّى أقربهم كان أخي الذي رحلَ عنّا منذُ عامين، واخترتُموني مِن بعده زعيمًا لكم- جميعُهم حافظوا على كلّ رجلٍ من نسْل فارس ونوح، وعاهدتُكم أنْ أكون مثلهم كما تعلمون، جمعتُكُم اليومَ لأخبركم أنّنا بتْنا مُهدَّدين كما هدّد زعيمنا الأوّل فارس، لكنّني سأفعلُ كلّ ما يتوجّب عليَّ لأحافظَ عليكم جميعًا.
