كاتب وروائي من لبنان. مواليد 1984. مقيم في بيروت، وطالب ماجستير في جامعة القدّيس يوسف. عمِل في الصحافة اللبنانية، منذ 2007، مختصاً في مسائل المجتمع وحقوق الإنسان. له روايتان، "صانع الألعاب"، صادرة سنة 2013، و"وارسو قبل قليل"، صادرة سنة 2015، صادرتان عن دار نوفل ــ هاشيت أنطوان. رشحت روايته وارسو قبل قليل ضمن القائمة الطويلة لجائزة البوكر العربية لعام ٢٠١٦.
Book Description
بزغ الفجر فوق الأنقاض. بعد نصف ساعة من الصمت والصقيع، ظهرت قافلة جديدة. نساء بالمئات مع أطفالهنّ. صبية وبنات. مدجّجات بثيابهنّ السود. مكمّمات الأفواه. يمشين كما لو أنّهنّ سجون متنقّلة، تخفي في داخلها أجسادًا، وأجساد تخفي في داخلها أرواحًا، وأرواح في داخلها حياة. عدد الرجال ليس كبيرًا وغالبيّة المغادرين من النساء. الرجال انسحبوا في باصات خاصّة إلى الأرياف وإلى الشمال. أخذوا معهم عائلاتهم. الذين ينسحبون أمامنا ولا نعرف من أين خرجوا، هم الذين بقوا أو الذين تبقّوا. المدينة كلّها انسحبت من أهلها وهم انسحبوا منها. العودة ليست قدرًا. في الخامسة، فرغت المدينة. عاد الثلج للسقوط كالدمع على الركام.
