كاتب وروائي من لبنان. مواليد 1984. مقيم في بيروت، وطالب ماجستير في جامعة القدّيس يوسف. عمِل في الصحافة اللبنانية، منذ 2007، مختصاً في مسائل المجتمع وحقوق الإنسان. له روايتان، "صانع الألعاب"، صادرة سنة 2013، و"وارسو قبل قليل"، صادرة سنة 2015، صادرتان عن دار نوفل ــ هاشيت أنطوان. رشحت روايته وارسو قبل قليل ضمن القائمة الطويلة لجائزة البوكر العربية لعام ٢٠١٦.

بين كرة القدم ولاعبوها؛ وكرة السياسة وصانعوها يتجوَل "أحمد محسن" بقلمه بين عالمان مختلفان، ويصطنع راوٍ أو أكثر، يتقاطع معه، فيثبت من خلاله أفكاره ورؤاه، أو يفترق عنه للتمويه وللإيحاء باستقلالية الرواية عن صاحبها، وهو من الأمور المشروعة في الفن الروائي. يتخذ الروائي من اللعبة الأكثر إثارة في العالم كرة القدم ميداناً لعمله الروائي الموسوم بـ "صانه الألعاب" مبرزاً شخصية اللاعب (السياسي – الرياضي) داخل (الملعب –المجتمع) وخارجه، بلغة سردية هاذئه وهو اختيار ذكي في التعبير عن مشاكل وظواهر اجتماعية باتت لافتة في لبنان أراد "محسن" التوقف عندها "... أخبرت مرة زميلاً في المدرسة فأجبر شيخ المسجد إن الذي يفهم في الدين لا يفهم في كاس العلم بالضرورة. تمرَد الجميع فقارنوا، وفي تلك المقارنة، أرجح أن أولاد الحي كانوا ينتصرون لرونالدينهو. ارتدوا قمصاناً تحمل اسمه الطويل نوعاَ ما مقارنة بالأسماء العربية، إنتموا إليه لا إلى قراهم المنكوبة..." وهكذا تحفل الرواية بإشارات الروائي عن الوضع السياسي في لبنان وهي طريقة لا تخلو قراراً غربياً في ميلانو. قرروا انتقال ريكاردو كاكا في 26 تموز 2009 إلى ريال مدريد. زحفت الجماهير إلى منزل اللاعب البرازيلي كما يزحف اللبنانيون إلى زعمائهم (...) هنا في لبنان يتابعون السياسة لأن اللاعبين فيها أكثر من لاعبي كرة القدم، السياسة لعبة قذرة لا روح رياضية فيها ولا تعادل، حتى النجمة والأنصار والفرق المحلية الأخرى كانت بحد ذاتها ملعباً يسرح فيه السياسيون ويمرحون..."
