نظراً لهذه الأهمية الكبيرة التي لكتاب "الورقات" ، والتي جعلت هؤلاء الأئمة الأعلام يولون عنايتهم به، بين شارح له، ومحش عليه، وناظم لمتنه... قمنا بعمل الآتي: تصحيح ألفاظ متن الوراقات للجويني، وشرحه للمحلي من خلال الاعتماد على عدة نسخ مضبوطة، وهي حاشيتي العبادي على شرح المحلي على الورقات، وكذا "حاشية النفحات على شرح الورقات" لأحمد عبد اللطيف الخطيب، ونسخة حجرية لشرح المحلي طبعت سنة 1346هــ ، وقد ساهمت بشكل كبير في تصحيح الأخطاء الواقعة في نص الكتاب، قمت بالتعليق والتنبيه إلى بعض الفوائد، والتعريفات، والتبيهات المهمة التي وردت في الكتب السابق الإشارة إليها، وأضفت ذلك في الهامش تتميماً للفائدة خصوصاً مما لم يتناوله صاحب الحاشية، مع الاهتمام بالإشارة إلى التعريفات الأصولية التي أشار إليها الجوني في كتابه "البرهان" والمحلي في "شرحه على جمع الجوامع" ، والعبادي لأهميتها، خرجت الأحاديث والأعلام الواردة في الكتاب بشكل مختصر.
