كلُّ ما مضى، كان عبثاً، والآتي لن يكون مختلفاً، هذا الوجودُ المجهولُ النّسب وتاريخُ المولد، بكلّ ما فيهِ من علومٍ، وفنونٍ، شرائع، ضوابط، قوانين ونواميس معلومةٍ ومجهولةٍ وغيبيّةٍ، هو ضربٌ من ضروبِ العبث، الغيابُ عن العبثِ عبثٌ، والضّلوع فيه عبثٌ، والبحث عن منزلةٍ بين هاتين المنزلتين، أيضاً عبث، لا شيء سوى العبث.
حوّلني الوجودُ إلى روح وظلّ اللاجدوى، لذا، كلٌّ ما مضى كان عبثاً، والآتي لن يختلفُ ويشدَّ، لن أحاولَ مجدداً أن أكون خلاف ما كُنتهُ، لن أحاولَ، رغم أن الحياةَ والموتَ معاً يأمراني بتكرار المحاولة، لكن، لماذا حاول؟... طالما أن الحياة والموت، صارا وجهين أبديين للعبث!...
هذه ليستُ وصيّة، بماذا يوصي، مَنْ لا يملكُ شيئاً من نفسهِ حتّى يوصي به لأحد؟!... ولمَنْ يوصي الأبترُ عديمُ النّسلِ والذريّة، ولا يملكُ من الدنيا بمقدارِ حفنة تراب؟!...
هذه ليس وصيّة، لأنني لا أحبّ الوعظ والوصايا والإرشاد، لا أحبُّ أن يكون لي تلاميذ وأتباع وأشياع.
الشّيءُ الوحيدُ الذي لم أندمْ عليه، ويزدادُ تعلّقي به، وكنتُ صائباً في اختيارهِ وإقترافه، هو الكتّابة، مُنذُ بدئي تدوينَ هذه الأسطر، مبررُ وجودي في هذه الحياة، صار الكتابة، لا شيءَ يدفعني لأن أعيش لهُ أو لأجله، سوى الكتابة.
لا حبيبة أو زوجة أو أولاد، لا قناعات وعقائد، لا مُلك، لا وطن أو هويّة أو إنتماء إلى عائلة، قبيلة أو شعب، لا شيء سوى الكتابة، هل سيكونُ الله أكثر كرماً معي، ويمنحني المزيدَ من العمر حتّى أكتب ما تبقّى من سيرتي؟...
