حياته:
- من مواليد دمشق 1351هـ - 1932م.
- تعلم أولاً في مدارس الجمعية الغراء التي أسسها الشيخ علي الدقر صاحب النهضة المعروفة منذ الربع الأول من القرن العشرين.
- تابع تعليمه في الثانويات وحصل على الثانوية العامة.

حياته:
- من مواليد دمشق 1351هـ - 1932م.
- تعلم أولاً في مدارس الجمعية الغراء التي أسسها الشيخ علي الدقر صاحب النهضة المعروفة منذ الربع الأول من القرن العشرين.
- تابع تعليمه في الثانويات وحصل على الثانوية العامة.
- تخرج بكلية الحقوق من جامعة دمشق عام 1954.
- أسس أولاً ثانوية دار الفكر الخاصة مع الأستاذ محمد الزعبي ولم تستمر طويلاً.
- عمل بالمحاماة مدة يسيرة وكذلك بالتعليم.
- توفر أخيراً على رسالته من خلال إنشاء دار الفكر للطباعة والتوزيع والنشر عام 1377هـ الموافق لعام 1957م مع شريكيه محمد الزعبي وأحمد الزعبي وكان مديرها العام وما يزال يتابع عمله فيها.
- أسهم بتأسيس الدار السودانية للنشر في الخرطوم مع الأستاذ عبد الرحيم مكاوي عام ودار الحكمة اليمانية في صنعاءودار الكوثر في الرياض ودار الفكر في الجزائر
- رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية للناشرين السوريين عام 1994-2005
- نائب رئيس اتحاد الناشرين العرب 1995-2007.
- رئيس اللجنة العربية لحماية الملكية الفكرية 1995-2007.
- رئيس اتحاد الناشرين في الجمهورية العربية السورية لغاية عام 2011
- آمن بحرية الفكر والتفكير وكره فرض الوصاية على القارئ..
- أعجب بفكر مالك بن نبي وجودت سعيد وعبد الوهاب المسيري ومن كان صاحب رأي في الحضارة ونهوض المسلمين.

A collection of articles analyzing the events of the September 11th attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. These essays share the author's heartfelt outrage as well as pointng out the attitude of Islam towards these tragedies.
