عانت الشعوب المستعمرة والنساء من تمركز النزعة الغنسانية حول الرجل الأبيض وإهمالها لكل ما هو غيره ولذلك كانت الرؤية الإنسانية قاصرة دائما عن غدراك رؤى أخرى تم تهمشيها بسبب مركزية الرجل الأوروبى الأبيض ، الذى ينظر للعالم من منظوره الشخصى ولا يستطيع الوصول إلى رؤية أخرى ولا يبالى بذلك ومن هنا جاءت الرؤى ما بعد الإنسانية post-humanism التى تهتم بالرؤى التى تم تهمشيها فى ظل الروية الإنسانية فاهتم بعضها بحقوق النساء واهتم البعض الآخر بحقوق الشعوب المستعمرة.
اهتم مفكرون آخرون من ما بعد الغنسانيين برفض الساس النظرى للنزعة الإنسانية. والسبب فى هذا الرفض هو ان تفسير العالم من منظور إنسانى يهمل البنى التى تحكم حركة المجتمع والتاريخ وتقدم تفسيرا أبعد رؤية للأحداث التاريخية كالبنى الطبقية مثلا فإذا ما نظر الإنسان للعالم على أنه كيان واحد إلى التاريخ على أنه قصة موحده لتطور الكائن البشرى فسوف تكون رؤيته قاصرة عن إدراك كل الإختلافات التى تشكل البشر وتحرك التاريخ.
