وكان الصراع بين الشعب والإخوان المسلمين، يدور عبر مليونيات الجماهير الشعبية طوال العام الذي حكمت فيه الجماعة مصر، في ظل رئاسة الرئيس الأسبق محمد مرسي، وحتى منذ ثورة يناير 2011؛ وجاء تتويجه في موجة 30 يونيو 2013، الثورية الكبرى التي وضعت نهاية حاسمة للحكم الإخواني شعبياً وسياسياً.
