الحياة العلمية والعملية
حصل على الماجستير والدكتوراة في الدراسات اللغوية والاسلامية من عام 1985 إلى عام 1992 م, وعمل معيدا, ومدرسا مساعدا, ثم, مدرسا, ثم أستاذا بالجامعة ذاتها
أشرف على عشرات الرسائل في الماجستير والدكتوراة داخل مصر وخارجها
عمل أستاذا بجامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة في الفترة من 1995 إلى 2000 م، وأثناء ذلك كانت له برامج دينية ثانية في اذاعة القرآن الكريم بمكة المكرمة, ومشاركات في الصحف السعودية, ومحاضرات في نادى مكة الثقافى الأدبى

إن المسلم في حاجة إلى موعظة تذكره، وفي حاجة إلى معلومة تدفعه إلى فعل الخيرات، واجتناب الموبقات، وفي حاجة إلى علم نافع يشرح الله تعالى به صدره، ويجعله هداية له، ولغيره {أفمن شرح الله صدره للإسلام فهو على نور من ربه} [الزمر: 22] ورب حامل فقه غير فقيه، ورب حامل فقه إلى من هو أفقه منه كما علمنا الحبيب، صلى الله عليه وسلم. وخير ما يهديه المسلم إلى أخيه علم نافع، أو نصيحة صادقة، أو أمر بالمعروف، أو نهي عن المنكر، أو حكمة نافعة، أو ذكرى بالغة {وذكر فإن الذكرى تنفع المؤمنين} [الذاريات: 55].
وإن كتابنا (خير الزاد في صلاح العباد) يأتي بعد طول معايشة للدعوة إلى الله تعالى، والمثابرة في تسجيل كل معلومة أجدها، وأجد فيها النفع، وكان نتاج ذلك أن تجمعت لدى عشرة دفاتر؛ اكتنزت ملحًا ونوادر، ومواقف، وقصصًا، ومأثورات، وشعرًا إسلاميًا وأسئلة وأجوبة، وأدعية.. إلخ.
