إن موضوع الخوارج من الموضوعات التى شغلت بال كثير من مفكري الإسلام وعلمائة ، وذلك لما لاحظوه من تطرف وغلو في بعض افكار ومبادئ الخوارج ، مثل : تكفيرهم مرتكبي الكبائر، وحكمهم على من خالفهم بالكفر وجواز قتله ، وإنكارهم تحكيم الررجال ، وتبريهم من عثمان وعلي- رضى الله عنهما - وردهم السنة إذا لم يرد ما يؤيدها من القرآن صراحة فهم - كما يقول الإمام الجليل ابن يتمية رحمة الله- ( لا يتمسكون من السنة إلا بما فسر مجملها دون ما خالف ظاهرة القرآن عندهم ن فلا يرجمون الزاني ، ولا يرون للسرقة نصابا) وبعد ففي هذه الدراسة اتناول الخوارج وأهم مبادئهم وفرقهم مع مناقشتنا لأهم أفكارهم ومبادئهم في ضوء الفكر الإسلامي الصحيح.
