يعرض هذا الكتاب لموضوع الطهارة في الإسلام متناولاً كافة الموضوعات التي تتعلق به وتهم المسلم في حياته اليومية، بدءاً من معرفة أقسام الحياة فأنواع النجاسات، ففرائض الوضوء وسننه ونواقصه، فمشروعية المسح على الجوربين والخفين، فالغسل وموجباته، وما يحرم على الجنب، والتيمم ومشروعيته وكيفيته ونواقصه، وأحكام الحيض والنفاس، إلى غير ذلك في موضوعات الطهارة فى الإسلام، وذلك على ضوء الكتاب الشريف والسنة المطهرة، وما أجمع عليه الأئمة من الفقهاء.
