الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا "مفرج الكروب ومفرح القلوب" تأليف العلامة المحدث الإمام الرباني الشيخ يوسف بن إسماعيل النبهاني (ت 1350 هـ) جمع فيه المؤلف الكثير من الأذكار والأدعية الشريفة المرجوة الإجابة والمشتملة على اسم الله الأعظم الذي إذا دعى به أجاب، من كتاب رب العالمين وسنة سيد المرسلين، وغير ذلك من المأثورات والمجربات لدفع الشدائد والكرب وقضاء الحاجات. وقد قمت بتخريج آياته من المصحف الشريف، وعزو أحاديثه إلى مواضعها من كتب السنة المطهرة، والتعليق عليه بما يلزم حسب ما يقتضيه المقام. وقد اعتمدت على النسخة المطبوعة بتصحيح المؤلف بالمطبعة الأدبية في بيروت في عشر ذي الحجة سنة 1323هـ.
