هذا الكتاب "الروضة المانوسة في أخبار مصر المحروسة" لعلامة زمانه محمد بن أبي سرور- رحمه الله- وقد قمت فيه بنسخ المخطوط وضبطه، تخريج الآيات، تخريج الأحاديث. والحكم عليها بما يليق بحالها، عمل ترجمة لبعض الأعلام والأماكن والبلدان، ضبط بعض التواريخ. وقد حوى من المحاسن أبهجها، ومن اللطائف أنضرها، اقتطفت فيه أزاهر تواريخي التي ألفتها، وجعلته خاصًا بحكام الديار المصرية في الدولة الشريفة العثمانية مع ما يضاف إلى ذلك من فضائلها البهية مرتبًا ذلك على ثلاث أبواب.
