هذا الكتاب وأقصد من كتابته أولاً هو تعريف الشيعة، وتبيين حقائقها، وإظهار خفاياها، وإلقاء الأضواء عليها، وعلى المسائل التي اخترعوها، والعقائد التي ابتكروها وأوجدوها - للشيعة أنفسهم - لأننا أدركنا القوم أنفسهم وخاصة العوام منهم لا يعرفون مذهبهم الحقيقي، ومعتقداتهم الأصلية، فهم في جهل كامل، وغفلة عميقة عن حقيقة مذهبهم الذي اعتنقوه وراثة، أو مخدوعين باسم حب أهل بيت النبي والولاء لهم، وهم لا يعرفون حتى أهل البيت، لأن القوم ما أرادوا من أهل البيت أهل بيت النبي، بل يقصدون من وراء هذه الكلمة أهل بيت علي لا النبي، وحتى علي لا يعدون جميع أولاده من أهل البيت مع من فيهم بناته اللاتي أنجبتهم فاطمة "رضي الله عنها" بنت النبي "صلى الله عليه وسلم"، بل يقصدون من ذلك أشخاصًا معدودين يعدون على أنامل اليد الواحدة كما سيرى القارئ في الكتاب، فأولاً وأصًلا كتبنا هذا الكتاب لأولئك المخدوعين، المغترين، الغير عارفين حقيقة القوم وأصل معتقداتهم كي يدركون الحق ويرجعوا إلى الصواب إن وفقهم الله لذلك، ويعرفوا أن أهل البيت - نعم - وحتى أهل بيت علي "رضي الله عنهم" أجمعين لا يوافقون القوم ولا يقولوم بمقالتهم، بل هم على طرف والقوم على طرف آخر، وكل ذلك من كتب القوم وبعباراتهم هم أنفسهم، وهذا مع ادعائهم اتباعهم وإطاعتهم وولاءهم وموالاتهم.
