رجل المخابرات ورئيس المحكمة العسكرية، يعلمان بأن النقود تأتي من الخارج، رفعوا نسبة الغرامة بأكثر من نسبه انخفاض الليرة. "إن الاهل لا يدفعون من جيوبهم، عليهم أن يدفعوا أكثر، الخزينة بحاجة للنقود".
رئيس المحكمة يريدها للخزنية، وأبي يريدها لجيبه، أبي يعددهم بالاسم، وجمال كان يردد: (إنها نقود البترول، الثورة والبترول شيئان متناقضان، لا يمكن لهما أن يلتقيا أو يقتربا).
من المستحيل أن يحتضن البترول الثورة، والأكثر استحالة ان تحافظ الثورة على البترول، عليها أن تحرقه أن تدمره، إن لم تفعل تكن مرتهنة لديه.
أبي ورجل المخابرات يحبون رائحة البترول، كل على طريقته، أبي يريد أن يبيع نفسه ولايهمه الثمن، وإن كان ابنه أو أي شئ آخر... ورجل المخابرات يعتبرها من حقه لأنه يحافظ عليها.
