ثلاثية "أوهام ضائعة" هى ثلاثة روايات للكاتب "بلزاك" وهذه هى الرواية الأولى والتى تقع تحت اسم "الشاعران" وهى عبارة عن عرض للأوهام التى تغزو المقاطعات، وهم الطبقة النبيلة التى تعيش فى أبراجها العاجية فى أنغوليم العليا وتتوهم رغم فقرها أنها من غير طينة بورجوازيى هومر الذين يسيطرون على الصناعة والتجارة، ووهم الأهل يعقدون الآمال على أبنائهم الذين يمتلكون بعض مظاهر العبقرية فتضيق المقاطعة أمام غرور هؤلاء، ويتطلعون إلى باريس حيث حياة عظماء الرجال، أخيراً وهم الحب الذى يوجه فى المقاطعات جميع الأوهام الأخرى الذى يدفع لوسيان وهو من يعتقد فى نفسه أنه شاعر كبير ليتخلى عن أهله وصديقه الأثير ويلتحق بامرأة حمقاء مدعية أدب وفن تغذى فيه أوهامه وتسوقه إلى باريس لترميه على أرصفتها فقيراً دون حماية.
