لقد اختار المؤلف ان يتناول موضوع الخط العربى من خلال اثر البيئة علية وذلك لتأثير البيئة القرى على كل نواحى حياتنا وتأثرنا كذلك بها ولقد حاولت كل الدول فى العالم ان تهتم اهتماما خاصة بالاهتمام بالبيئة وقد سبق القران الكريم كل هذه الدول يألف و اربعمائة سنة فى الدعوة للحفاظ على البيئة ومما يتها فلم يطلق يد الانسان فى التصرف فى كل مخلوقاته وليست القران فقط بل حتى السنة النبوية تعرضت لموضوعات البيئة ايضا فى اكثر من ناحية ولان البيئة التى تحيط بالانشان هى ما يستمد منه الفنانون القيم الجمالية واشكال تطور الجمال فان هذا يساهم جدا فى تعميق الاحساس بجال الخط العربى وادراك القيم والتشكيلية وكذلك التعريف برواد الخط العربى وبعض مبدعية منذ عهد النبى صلى الله علية وسلم وبيان عالمية الخط العربى ووحدته رغم تنوع اشكاله وكيف ان شعوب العالم الاسلامى كافة قد شاركت فى جمال واكتمال الخط العربى وهدف الكتاب الى تنمية الدافعية للتعليم والدافعية للابتكار وذلك مساهمه فى تنمية البيئة .
