نظرا لأن الصراع العربى الإسرائيلى صراع حضارى فقد استغرق زمنا طويلا لكننا سنكتفى بعرض المراحل الحديثة لهذا الصراع وموقف الأمم المتحدة الممثلة للشرعية الدولية منه لذا سنبدا بشرح مناهج التسوية السلمية للمنازعات حسبما جاءت بميثاق الأمم المتحدة ثم كيف طبثت على الصراع العربى الإسرائيلى لذا سنقسم هذا الباب إلى ثلاثة فصول نتنول فى الفصل الأول مراحل الصراع المسلح وكيف عالجته الأمم المتحدة ونتناول فى الفصل الثانى مراحل التسوية السلمية للصراع على ضوء اتفاقيات " كامب ديفيد" ومعاهد السلام المصرية الإسرائيلية ونتناول فى الفصل الثالث القضية فى اتفاقات السلام الإسرائيلية الفلسطينية.
