Book Description
The purpose of this survey is to furnish a clear and comprehensive account of the weapons used by the Israeli armed forces. The volume is divided into three parts: lists the equipment possessed by all branches of the Israeli armed forces – air, land and sea. The information contained is up to date (November 1970) and includes details of the new weapons offered to Israel by the USA in the closing months of 1970. Estimates take account as far as possible of Israeli losses sustained during and since the June of war of 1967, although it is reason the figures for the quantity of weapons in Israeli service should be regarded as tentative. It is intended to keep this volume up to date with regular new editions whenever there is a sufficient amount of new material to justify them.
