هذا هو الجزء الثانى والأخير من مختصر كتاب "نفح الطيب" من غصن الأندلس الرطيب" للمقرى.. وإذا كان الجزء الأول تناول المقرى فيه بلاد الأندلس وصفاً وتاريخاً، والتعريف بمن رحل من الأندلسيين إلى بلاد المشرق، والمشارقة إلى بلاد المغرب والأندلس.. فإن هذا الجزء يتناول حياة لسان الدين بن الخطيب، وذكر شيوخه الذين أخذ عنهم، وتتلمذ على أيدهم، مترجماً لهم، ثم ذكر نشاته ووزارته وذكر قصوره، وأمواله،وأحواله ومحنة، ووفاته.. ثم عرج ونظمه، وبعضهاً من أزجاله وموشحاته، وأخيراً ذكر تلاميذه مترجماً لهم، ذكراً أخبارهم.. مختتماً حديثة بنصائحه الكافية وحكمة الشافية.
