I came across Hanan’s work on a website supposedly designed for mutual exchange between artists. A lot of fluff circulated and frustrated my eye and my appreciation for fine art, but it was rare to happen upon someone who stimulated my senses.
There comes a time when one witnesses the arrival of a significant artist in our own time period. There are visual seizures; punched- in- the gut reactions: and sitting behind a glass shield nodding because you know this is a heart calling.
Hanan’s ability to pour out such as range of emotions, to allow herself to be so vulnerably unveiled while maintaining a sense of self- preservation, reveals the maturity of her work; while we all face the dichotomy of being, few have the energy; the visual voice, to muse on it.
Sharing her heART has allowed some of use to feel that much less alone it facing the inner world of emotion and thoughts.
