ابن الجَزَرِي، شمس الدين (751 - 833 هـ ، 1350 - 1429م).
محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن علي ابن يوسف أبو الخير شمس الدين العمري الدمشقي ثم الشيرازي الشافعي، المشهور بابن الجزري، شيخ الإقراء في زمانه. ولد ونشأ في دمشق وأنشأ فيها مدرسة سماها دار القرآن ونسبته إلى جزيرة ابن عمر. ورحل إلى مصر مرارًا، ودخل بلاد الروم وسافر مع تيمورلنك إلى بلاد ما وراء النهر، ثم رحل إلى شيراز، فولي قضاءها، ومات فيها.
من مؤلفاته: النشر في القراءت العشر؛ غاية النهاية في طبقات القراء؛ نهاية الدرايات في أسماء رجال القراءات؛ التمهيد في علم التجويد؛ فضائل القرآن؛ سلاح المؤمن، في الحديث.

قال الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم" قال الله تعالى : أنا عند ظن عبدى بي وأنا معه إذا ذكرنى، فإن ذكرنى فى نفسه ذكرته فى نفسى، وإن ذكرنى فى ملإ ذكرته فى ملإ خير منه" ..ولن الله سبحانة تعالى خلق الإنس والجن ليعبدون وجعل إطمئنان لقلوب فى ذكر الله نتبين ان للدعاء والذكر والصلاة لهم من الفضل العظيم سواء فى الدنيا او الآخرة. وفى هذا الكتاب نجد مختصراً للحصن الحصين الذى وضعه الإمام ابن الجزرى رحمه الله وقد إستقاه من كلام رب العالمين وسيد المسيلن صلى الله عليه وسلم. فيه مايقال فى الصباح والمساء وفيه أوقات الإجابة.. كذلك ما يتعلق بالمسجد والصلاة والأمور العلوية كالرعد والمطر وما إلى ذلك. نجد فيه أيضا ما يتعلق بما يواجه الإنسان من مصاعب أو مواقف فى حياته قبل الزواج والإستخارة والتوبة والقدوم من السفر وغير لك كثير مما يحفل به الكتاب.
