يقدم هذا الكتاب صورة متكالمة للمفهوم الذ آلت ادلة أصول النحو، وذلك من خلال فكر العلامة أبي البركات الأنباري وترجع اهمية هذه الدراسة لأصول النحو عنده إى ما كان له من درو في تأصيل علم اصول النحو والوصول به إلى مراحله الأخيرة من النضج والاكتمال وذلك من خلال مباحثة النظرية التى جمع فيه شتات هذا العلم من كتب المصنفين وفصل فيها مباحث ( علم أصول النحو) عن و"اغلااب في جدل الإعراب" فضلا عن تطبيقاته الواسعة لهذه الأصول في كتبه النحوية الكبيرة ك" الانصاف في مسائل الخلاف" والبيان في غريب اعراب القرآن و اسرار العربية. فقد اصبح الانباري - بما اصله واضافة إلى هذا العالم - مرجعا اساسيا من مراجع اصول النحو عند كل من تناول هذه المادة بالدراسة اذ اعتمد عليه جميع الدراسات التى جاءت من بعده سواء اكانت قديمة نحو محاولة السيوطي التأليف في علم الأصمول ام كانت حيدثة إلى عصرنا هذا حيث اعتمد الجميع على ما قدمه الانباري من تقسيمات وتفريعات لأدلة هذا العلم.
