حماسة كان كبير للمعادى حدثنى عن عشقه لها ولشوارعها التى تحمل أرقاما وليست أسماء وذكر شارع 9 وشارع 152 كمثال وأعطى عنوانا يصلح كتحقيق صحفى : المعادى ضاحية الأجانب . وقال أيضا : إنه يكره مدينة نصر والمهندسين وأن سكانها أثرياء حرب ومحدثى نعمة بالاضافة الى أن المعادى يمر بها المترو الذى يحبه بالرغم من أن التقصير قد طالة بعد ان تخلت الشركة الفرنسية عن إدارته كما ان المعادى بها مساحات خضراء لا بأس بها وهو يعشق ذلك وكان المترو يتهادى بين محطتى الزهراء ودار السلام فقال : سلام ، واقترب من باب النزول وعينه معلقة على أسماء المحطات أعلى الباب حتى خلت ان عينه فكست على المعادى . وانفتح باب المترو فى محطة دار السلام فنزل ضمن بشر كثير نزلوا .
