بريشة حكاء من طراز خاص يخربش "وليد خيري" على الورق كتلا من السرد الخفيف، يكاد يطير من خفته، ليشكل شخوصا غير اعتيادية تماما: حارس الحديقة، موظف طرة الأسمنت، ربة البيت المهذبة، البرنس، شاعر قصيدة النثر، الفرنسية الشقراء، سلطان العاشقين، الولد النزق، حارسة حمام النساء، وغيرها من الشخوص التي لا يمكن أن يضمَّها مكانٌ واحد سوى تلك المساحة من الشبق السرديّ الجَموح. تلك الرحلة المرحة - التي تبطن أسًى خفيا - يخادعُنا عبرها الصوتُ السارد بتلقائية خطواته حينا وبوعيه بحركته حينا آخر ليوهمنا بعبثيةٍ ما، لكنه في تقافزه الرشيق ذاك، بين تلقائيته ووعيه، بين شخوصه وحديقته وذاكرته، يُفاجئنا -ككلّ سارد كبير- بتشكل المصائر، والتفاف المقادير، وبالخطوة المباغتة التي تنقل الحاكي من عدسة المراقب إلى حومة المشارك، من الملاحظة إلى الفعل، دون قصديةٍ ما ولا إرادةٍ مضمرة، إنها الحياة حين تمنحُ حتى الذين يغفلون عنها، شريطة أن تكون أعماقهم مُحبّة، وعيونُهم حارسة للحب. لن يكون الرصدُ كافيا قط لتقديم صورة تُحيط بفضاء الدهشة الذي يمنحه لنا السارد هنا، عبر لغةٍ لا تتوقفُ عند حدّ المعجميّ، ولا تنجرفُ تماما في شلالاتِ الكلام اليوميّ الهادر، تخايل بهشاشتها وهي تنزلقُ على سطوح المقدس، وتراوغ البساطة بالمعرفي والنفسي والفلسفي، وتخذلُ القبح -وهي تستعيرُ مفرداته حينا- بالجمال الخبيء للجسارة. تسخرُ وتأسى وتحاكي وتمرح وتنوح في تفجّر لا يتوازى في جنونه إلا مع حياتنا ذاتها. ..... الرواية هي الأولى لـ وليد خيري بعد مجموعته القصصية (تجاوزت المقهى دون أن يراك أحدهم) الصادرة عن ميريت 2006
