عندما تتصفح هذا الكتاب تستشعر بأن الباحث العربي اليوم يتيه حينما يروم تقديم بحث في مجال تحليل الخطاب، لا سيما أن الدراسات النقدية تشعبت واختلفت، وتفاعلت فيما بينها، وعرفت تطوراً مذهلاً، فما عدنا قادرين على تتبع مسارات تحولاتها وفضاءات تشعباتها، لهذا نقف اليوم في مفترق طرق خطير يضيع الباحث العربي بين جنباته باحثاً عن السبيل الذي يسلكه في متاهات كل هذه التقاطعات.
لم تكن معالم هذه الدراسة واضحة من البداية، خاصة ونحن نتعامل مع نص روائي من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى نحن مجبرون على تتبع منهج نقدي ما يوصلنا إلى آليات إنسجامه، والمشكل العويص يتبدى هنا، لأننا لم نجد مدرسة واضحة الطرح استطاعت أن تلم بمبادئ الإنسجام، بل ظل مفهوماً معتماً وفضفاضاً متعالياً عن كل تحديد مطلق، وهو ما جعلنا نقف عند حقول نقدية متنوعة من علم النص إلى تحليل الخطاب إلى لسانيات النص... إلى الدراسات عبر اللسانية أو كما تسمى حديثاً بالتداولية.
وقمنا بإختيار هذا التنوع لأن الإنسجام يتعلق يبنى النص المضمرة أكثر من تعلقه بالبنى الظاهرة مما يتطلب رؤية شمولية للنص، متعلقة بمدى فهم سياقه، والوصول إلى مقصديات الكاتب الصريحة والضمنية المبثوثة في ثنايا نصه، ومدى إحترام النص للإستمرارية الموضوعاتية في بنائه، على أن تكون للقارئ ذخيرة موسوعية، يكون بها قادراً على ملء فراغات النص، فيتسنى له فهمه أكثر إن أدرك طبعاً طبيعة الجنس المنتمي إليه، لأنه يبقى للقارئ دور مركزي في الحكم على إنسجام نص من النصوص، إضافة إلى عناصر أخرى سنقف عندها في متن الدراسة.
