القصة الخامسة من قصص: أغاثا فتاة الألغاز وهي بعنوان «لؤلؤة البنغال» الوجهة إلى الهند، نيودلهي، خليج البنغال، والهدف هو البحث عن جوهرة نفيسة؛ لؤلؤة البنغال الأسطورية المسروقة من معبد كالي في دلتا نهر الغانج.
وفي هذه القصة تطمح "أغاثا" البالغة من العمر اثني عشر عاماً إلى ممارسة مهنة غريبة، فهي تريد أن تصبح كاتبة وتحديداً، كاتبة روايات غامضة، وقد وجدت في كلية "آي، الدولية للتحقيق" ومهامها الموكولة إلى ابن عمها التحري "داش" ضالتها حيث ستشاركه رحلته إلى الهند وبالتحديد إلى قرية في محمية سانداربانز العامة، بالقرب من كالكوتا، والقضية الموكولة إليه هذه المرة تبدو غامضة والمعلومات ضئيلة جداً، وهي عبارة عن اتصال هاتفي مسجل، وبعض ملفات الصور، ورجل مفقود، وما عليه سوى ملء الفراغات وحلّ القضية، ولديه خمسة أيام فقط لإنجاز المهمة، وإلّا سيتم طرده من مدرسة التحقيق الدولية.
أحداث مشوقة ومغامرات لا تنتهي سيقوم بها "داش" برفقة فريق التحقيق في رحاب الهند بحثاً عن الرجل المفقود.. يتبين لاحقاً؛ علاقته بسرقة لؤلؤة البنغال من معبد كالي، حيث يحط رحال فريق التحري وهذه المرة تتفوق "أغاثا" في الكشف عن أولى خيوط القضية "بعض القشور الخشبية الخضراء في تمثال، وعندها، صرخت بفرح: "وجدتها. أعرف من السارق"؟
