زادت هموم الصحافة واتسعت دوائر مشكلاتها وقضاياها وهى التي كانت دائماً الملاذ الآمن لكل صاحب هم.. والباب المفتوح لكل صاحب قضية وكانت دائما حلالة المشكلات لكل من أغلقت الأيام أبواب الرجاء وجهه.. هموم كثيرة تحاصر الآن صاحبة الجلالة من كل اتجاه وفى آحيان كثيرة سقط تاجها أما مغامرات غير محسوبة.. وتصرفات غير مسئولة وأناس باعوا أنفسهم للشيطان.. والآن أصبحت الصحافة حديث الناس. ولاشك فى أن هناك امراضاً كثيرة تناقلتها الصحافة وتسربت إليها من المناخ العام. فى مقدمتها الانقسانات الفكرية والأيديولوجية التى استثمرتها السطلة لضرب المثقفين وتشويه أهدافهم وصورتهم أما أنفسهم وآمام المجتمع وما بين تقسيمات اليمين واليسار ولاتقدمي والدينى والعلمانى.. دارت معارك كثيرة أطرافها تضرراً ..وللأسف الشديد إن هذه المراض مازالت حتى الآن تحكم الكثير من المواقف فى بلاط صاحبة الجلالة.
