كانت المرأة قد غلقت الأبواب، وزوايا الإبصار المعتمة تقدني من قبل فأري العاهرة تتكور داخل صومعة هلامية تحت سماء تلبدت بغيوم هجينة لتزاوج غير شرعي بين حر سبتمبر المحتضر ونسمات باردة تعطرن بأريج شتاء نزق تووووت تووووت.
كرامتي الموروثة تدفعني نحو أن أعلن عني وأن أحطم أصفاد الخوف فأنا لست بأقل من هذا القطار الذي يزعق معلنًا عنه ومرهبًا كل من أمامه، لا بد من الوصول إلى حدود الأمكنة.
دخلت الغرفة، فتحت حقيبتي، استبدلت العقد بمثقاب، أغلقت الحقيبة وتأبطتها، رغمًا عني وطأت الأشلاء المغطاة، ما زالت ساعة الغرفة متوقفة، والعجوز مازالت تنظر إلي في استعلاء، والعاهرة مترهلة الأرداف جعلت من السفينة متكئًا توووووت توووووت
