I may not disclose a secret when I say that the idea of writing this book, which I now produce to the honorable reader, was a result of my perpetual and continuous thinking -along the past years- of that great generation of Kuwaiti pioneers who sealed over the seas and oceans, and so gained a reputation that surpass by far the borders of their small country.
Some of the generations, that came into being after the discovery of the oil in Kuwait, may think that their country would not have reached its current limits if it wasn’t for the oil, while the truth remains far different from this belief; since the Renaissance of the country began, continued and laid its fruits, especially in the period between nearly 1935 and 1975, of which we will mention the details that we witnessed within the chapters of this book.
