"... ثمَّ إنه استشكل تقديم (الرحمن) على القول بأنه أبلغ، مع أنه من المهمات تأخير الأبلغ في الإثبات ليترقَّى من الأدنى إليه، نحو: جوادٌ فياض وعالم نحرير، وأجيب بأمور: الأول أن نعم الدنيا لما كانت سابقة قدّم ما يدل عليه، وهذا مبنيٌّ على عدم إضافة (رحيم) إلى الدنيا وإضافة (رحمن) إليها. الثاني:أنه لما تنزّل منزلة العَلَم لكونه خاصًّا به تعالى لا يُقال لغيره قُدِّم على (الرحيم)، لأنه قد يقال لغيره تعالى كما يقدم الموصوف على الصفة".
