إن علم أحكام القضاء، هو من الذين بمنزلة الرأس من سائر الأعضاء، وآدابه من اجل الآداب المرعية، وخطته من أعظم الخطط الشعرية، ركن من أركان الشريعة بل هو أسسها، ورئيس العلوم الإسلامية بل هو رأسها. وقد ألف الناس فيه قديماً وحديثاً، وسار العلماء في تبين أصوله وقواعده سيراً حثيثاً، وكتاب "تحفة الحكام في نكت العقود والأحكام" هو من أحد التأليف الهامة في أحكام القضاء، حيث تكلم المؤلف فيه على الأحكام الفقهية لمعرفة ما عقد في الوثائق، وطريقة التوثيق مبنية على الاحتياط والحزم والخروج عن الخلاف، وارتكاب الوجه المتفق عليه قطعاً للنزاع والخصومات، ولأهميته قام الكثيرون بشرحه، والشرح الذي نقلب صفحاته هو من الشروع الهامة لهذا الكتاب (تحفة الحكام) حيث جاء شرح محمد بن محمد المالكي تتمة لشرحي القاضي ابن عاصم، وأبو العباس أحمد بن عبد الله، حيث شرحه شرحاً هو محصلة الشرحين، فوضح المعاني، وشرح الغامض من العبارات، مضيفاً إليه قواعد وتنبيهات وتحقيقات تزيل الشبهات.
منظومة شعرية لابن عاصم الأندلسي في علم أحكام القضاء، وهذا شرح على هذه المنظومة لميارة الفاسي حيث قام بشرحها وتحليل ألفاظها وبيان ما انطوت عليه من أحكام حسب المذهب المالكي، مع إيراد لآراء علماء المذهب، وقد وضعنا في هامش الكتاب حاشية المعداني على الشرح والتحفة.
