إن كمال العبودية في اجتناب المناهي الشرعية، ولذلك انشرح صدري منذ أربع سنوات خلت على جمع المناهي الشرعية الصحيحة الواردة في السنة النبوية المطهرة لأضعها بيد يدي الأمة الإسلامية، لتحذرها، وتبتعد عن شرها وضررها، فإن المناهي إذا استطار شررها ووقع فيها العبد أفسدت دنياه وآخرته، لأنها تضر ولا بد، كما قال الإمام ابن قيم الجوزية في كتاب العجاب ذي العلم النافع المستطاب (الداء والدواء): "فمما ينبغي أن يعلم: أن الذنوب تضر ولا بد، وأن ضررها في القلوب كضرر السموم في الأبدان، على اختلاف درجاتها في الضرر، وهل في الدنيا والآخرة شر وداء إلا وسببه الذنوب والمعاصي؟
وقد قمت بترتيبها على الكتب الفقهية، واعتمدت ترتيب الإمام أبي عبد الله البخاري أمير المؤمنين في الحديث في "صحيحه" فإنه ترتيب علمي، كسلسلة ترابطت حلقاتها إلا كتبًا يسيرة رأيت وضعها على خلاف ترتيبه، ككتاب "التوحيد" فقد جمعته مع كتاب "الإيمان"، وكتاب "الاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة"، جعلته بعد كتاب "العلم"، وكتبًا أخرى لم أعتمدها لأن أبوابها منثورة في كتب أخرى ككتاب "التمني" وكتاب "الحيل" وغيرها، وجعلت خلاصة فقد الباب عنوانًا له متبعًا سنن فقهاء أهل الحديث، ثم فصلت ذلك بعد الأحاديث الواردة في الباب معتمدًا فقه السلف الصالح الذي مداره على الكتاب والسنة الصحيحة وآثار الصحابة "رضي الله عنهم"، ومستأنسًا بأقوال أهل العلم المتقدمين والمعاصرين.
