The Man in the White Sandals the story of twenty-five -year-old Fatima, a creative dreamer, who put her dream on hold to pursue the love of her life. An incident in an elevator moves her life in a new direction.
We all have that one dream we aspire to achieve, and often we put some of our dreams on hold when it comes to love, and delay pursuing them until we get our love affairs sorted out. Since love, and career aspirations are two issues many young adults deal with, I believe that the readers will identify with Fatima and find her a relatable heroine as she learns that when you do pursue your dreams, you could have everything you wished for and more.
This story, set in the coastal city of Abu Dhabi, runs about 16,000 words. Though is it short, I think that it sweet and to the point, making it an easy read. I have been told that my writing voice is closely similar to that of Cecilia Ahern’s, and that my stories transport readers to a magical place.
