كاتب وروائي كويتي، نشر عدد من المجموعات القصصية، كما نشر رواية بدرية التي نالت شهرة كبيرة في الساحة الأدبية العربية منذ عام 1989م، وكتب عنها الكثير من النقاد العرب نشر كتابين عن فن وعلم التنويم، والعلاج بالطاقة الكونية "ريكي"، حيث يعمل استشاري نفسي واجتماعي، وأستاذ دولي بالتنويم وممثل الجمعية الأمريكية للمنومين وعضو البورد فيها، إضافة إلى تخصصات أخرى في العلاج والتنمية الذاتية حاصل على جائزتين في الأدب، الأولى من مؤسسة التقدم العلمي في الكويت عام 1994م، والثانية جائزة الدولة التشجيعية من المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب في الكويت عام 1997م

أشعر أني في جزيرة معزولة محاطة بمياه محيط لا متناه، أرقب الموج الذي يلطم بعضه بعضاً وأتساءل:
-هل تشعر الأسماك في الأعماق المظلمة بالحرية أكثر مني؟ أم أنا الحرُ وهي السجينة؟ فضاءاتُ البحارِ مفتوحةٌ وفضاءاتي محدودة في هذه الجزيرة، هل ترى الأسماكُ السماءَ مثلي وترقبُ زرقتها وبياض غمامها؟ هل تسمعُ نداءات النوارس وشدو الحمام مثلي؟ مَن السجين فينا؟ مَن الحر الطليق منّا؟
كان عقلي يعشق الجنون ويتوق إليه كما يتوق السّر إلى انكشاف، كما يتوق النجم إلى الخروج عن مداره، كما يتوق القلب إلى السكين وغبطة المُنتهى وفخامة الموت، كان قلبي يقول للنصل أنا الجدير بالموت البهيّ، أنا أوشك دائماً أوشك أبداً أنا اشتهاء دائم الى اللاّعودة أنا أول من يقترف وأول من لا يعترف، أنا أول المجاهرين وآخر المستغفرين، أنا أول المستيقظين وآخر من لا يغفو.
أنا عدو المرافئ الصدئة أنا الإبحار في لانهائيته، أنا التحليق بلا حدود أو قيود، دون وجهات وإلى كل الجهات، أنا الزهر البري، أنا الخطيئة في عليائها المقدّس وفي فتنة إغوائها المدهشة والساحرة.
